The UK has very strict animal protection and animal welfare laws and the number of people who abstain from animal products has been steadily increasing for years.
In 2022, the Animal Sentience Act took a further step in animal welfare and protection: The law officially says that animals are sentient creatures.
“Vegan Nation” lets different actors have their say and wants to find out whether the new law could change eating habits in the UK.
