TV Reports for DW
A selection of my various news reports for DW, Germany’s international broadcaster.
I have been working for Deutsche Welle (DW) since March 2023, more precisely as a reporter for both the German and English language TV programmes. However, the German-language DW TV channel has been discontinued in December 2023.
As of February 2024, I have three roles in our DW Newsroom:
As a reporter, I write, edit, and voice news packages, covering a wide range of topics. In my role as a newsgatherer I am the overseeing thematic segments, I am the link to our live guests and correspondents, and I bring the topic forward as it develops. And finally, I am also and on-air editor, which means I create and oversee the creation of the rundown of the show, doing final checks and run the hourly news show from the gallery.
Furthermore, I create reports for Eco Africa, a show dedicated to highlight solutions to environmental issues, directed at African audiences.
