There used to be more than 3,000 varieties of apples and pears in Austria. Many still existing varieties are threatened to disappear. Stefanie Schuster and Alois Wilfling are specifically looking for these rarities and they are trying to save them from extinction. They sell the rare produce to individuals, caterers and restaurants, and are trying to make a contribution to biodiversity in Austria.
